Head of IT Operations
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the IT Operations sub-department
- Foster global collaboration and ensure efficient resource utilization by coaching and supporting the sub-department and its employees in roadmap planning, prioritization and execution
- Ensure appropriate team capacity, skills and experience while supporting the local management with input for performance reviews and development plans from a professional and strategic point of view
- Develop and assist high-performing teams through strategic mentoring and coaching
- Lead the IT Operations sub-department with strategic vision and direction
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and implement strategic roadmaps, driving innovation and strategy through best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
- Develop and implement team policies and procedures, while contributing to budget planning and ensuring alignment of change initiatives with both business goals and the departmental strategy
- Ensure IT security, compliance and reliability through the whole organization
Competencies:
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience, with a strong focus on servant leadership, team empowerment, and professional expertise
- Strong understanding of IT operations, industry best practices, and the technical fundamentals needed to effectively lead expert teams
- Strong mentoring skills and commitment to team development and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment, including remote teams
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide teams through complex challenges
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across departments and with external partners
- Fluent English language skills both written and spoken

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions in this job grade, with the final offer depending on factors like experience, education, location, and other relevant considerations. Additionally, this role qualifies for extra benefits beyond the base pay range mentioned.
